"KavalBit" double-jointed baby pelham is made of a horse- and allergy-friendly combination of stainless steel, which is very comfortable in the horse's mouth. At the same time, all welds and connections of the bits are excellently processed, so that abrasions and pressure points can be avoided. A pelham is fastened to the bit loop of the mouthpiece with the upper ring. The larger bit ring and the lower ring are connected to a pelham strap to which the rein can be attached. A pelham is usually used for jumping or eventing. When the reins are tightened, the pressure on the headpiece increases creating leverage.
