Dank des beweglichen Seitenarms, der sich in mehrere Richtungen öffnen lässt (nach vorne, hinten, oben oder zur Seite), wird das Risiko verringert, dass der Fuß im Falle eines Sturzes hängen bleibt.Aero wird aus robustem Aluminium gefertigt, ähnlich dem Material, das in der Luftfahrt verwendet wird. Das Material sorgt für eine starke, aber leichte Konstruktion mit einer Bruchlast von über 1600 kg.Die breite Trittfläche ist mit Glasfaser verstärkt, um einen stabilen Halt zu gewährleisten, während die Neigung von 5° Knie und Gelenke entlastet.
