Do you have a pregnant mare? Exciting times! However, you can sleep easy. Because Birth Alarm 2.0 will notify you in time when the moment arrives! At HypoStore, you now get 3 years instead of 2 years of warranty on the Birth Alarm 2.0! This is the very newest model of 2026, equipped with an improved antenna and suitable for nano SIM cards. We recommend a SIM card from KPN, Odido or Vodafone. Providers such as Simpel, Lebara, Simyo, etc. may cause issues with the SMS and/or calling function. Birth Alarm Lite 2.0 works on the same principle as the Classic. However, now your mobile phone is the receiver. This gives you unlimited range. You will need a prepaid SIM card for this. Naturally, you must be in an area where your mobile phone has service. The difference between the Birth Alarm 1.0 and 2.0 is the addition of a sleep mode; this prevents the Birth Alarm from going off unnecessarily when the mare is simply lying down and sleeping. When labor has begun, the mare lies completely on her side during the contractions. The transmitter registers this position and calls the preprogrammed numbers after 7.6 seconds. Research has shown that a contraction lasts at least 7 seconds. If you receive an alarm on your mobile phone, DO NOT answer this call (otherwise you will pay for the call). Then call back the number of the SIM card in the transmitter. If the phone rings twice, hang up. Your Birth Alarm will be reset (to standby mode) for the next time. Watch the instructional video below for more information or download the manual. Note: A prepaid SIM card and the anti-roll strap are not included and must be purchased separately (attachment to a halter is also possible) Purchase a SIM card from a provider that has good network reception where the mare is located Disable the PIN code on the SIM card Ensure that the voicemail of the SIM card is turned off Check that there is sufficient balance on the SIM card, at least €10,- Hold the screwdriver against one of the status lights to put the Birth Alarm Lite into programming mode Having issues with the SMS function? Try a SIM card from a different provider
